Trent Steckel Scholarship

Picture
Trent David Steckel, a Crystal Lake, IL resident was completing his training as a Firefighter/EMT-B with the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District when he tragically died
in a motorcycle accident at the age of 24.

Trent’s dream was to become a firefighter/paramedic, which was proven everyday by
his enthusiastic approach to every aspect of firefighting and EMS. This scholarship fund
is awarded in hopes that other equally enthusiastic residents with similar dreams may accomplish their aspirations of providing help to others in a time of need.
