Trent Steckel Scholarship
Trent David Steckel, a Crystal Lake, IL resident was completing his training as a Firefighter/EMT-B with the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District when he was tragically killed at the age of 24 in a motorcycle accident.
Trent’s dream was to become a firefighter, which was proven everyday by his enthusiastic approach to every aspect of firefighting and EMS. This scholarship fund is awarded in hopes that other equally enthusiastic residents with similar dreams may accomplish their aspirations of providing help to others in a time of need.
Trent Steckel Memorial Scholarship
-Up to $1,500.00-
Scholarship(s) will be awarded each semester for the purpose of providing financial assistance to McHenry County residents who wish to pursue a degree/certification in the fields of firefighting, EMS, nursing or a related healthcare field.
